These stories are taken from the Level Three series of readers for Special Needs children. It builds on the previous two levels. Pease make sure to first teach and then assess the associated word banks for each story. When they are known, let the children first hear and then read the relevant story. The word banks are phonetically based and help reinforce the phonetic sounds being targeted.
